Our imagination is a powerful ally in our Christian formation. Consider how often Jesus answered a question with a story, a metaphor or a parable. Jesus in word and deed encourages us to engage our imaginations. This "retreat" is crafted to help you to create space by engaging your imagination within the pages of Scripture. Journeying with Jesus in this way will not only help you see, understand and feel what Jesus is speaking to you but also to help you grow in your self-awareness by reflecting on your motivations, passions and why you are the way you are.
Knowing that our life with Jesus is never meant as a solo venture I encourage you to return here often to post a comment below on what especially intrigued, provoked, disturbed, challenged, encouraged, warmed, helped, or surprised you in a particular reading. Be sure to share whose perspective you read from.
“It is not knowing a lot but grasping things intimately and savoring them that fills and satisfies the soul.” St. Ignatius of Loyola
