Growing up, I thoroughly struggled at poetry units in school. In fact, my mom should have considered a career as a ghost writer, if you know what I mean. So I was pretty surprised at the poetic impulse that caught me during worship on Easter Sunday. What I'm sharing below is my humble attempt at a little poetic expression based on journeying through one of my favorite post-ressurection passages -The Disciples on the Road to Emmaus.
